These terms govern access to GitRoots services, billing, and account responsibilities.

Service GitRoots platform Provides repository overlay control, provisioning, and audit tooling.
Account Org-based access You are responsible for user access and connected GitHub credentials.
Billing Subscription Charges are billed in advance for the selected plan cycle.
Availability Best effort We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Acceptable use

Security Do not attempt to bypass access controls, audit logs, or visibility overlays.
Integrity You are responsible for the accuracy of provisioning requests and sync approvals.
Compliance Use GitRoots in compliance with applicable laws and your own internal policies.
Abuse We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or malicious activity.

Billing & cancellation

Plan changes Effective immediately Upgrades are prorated, downgrades take effect on the next cycle.
Cancellation Self-serve Cancel anytime to stop renewals at the end of the billing period.
Refunds See Refund Policy Refund eligibility is defined on the Refund Policy page.

Ownership & data

Your data You retain ownership of your repositories and generated outputs.
Service data We may store metadata required to operate and secure the platform.
Feedback Product feedback may be used to improve the service.

Limitation of liability

GitRoots is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitRoots will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
